ORBIT: Journey To The Moon is the story of man’s greatest achievement. Told through the original hand-held footage shot by the men who went there.

Enter the Command Module “Columbia” and “The Eagle” Lunar Lander to experience the first moon landing in July 1969. With rarely seen before footage, shot on-board by the astronauts who went there, this film tells their story in their own words and pictures.

Featuring an original soundtrack compiled to complement the film, alongside original commentary between the three astronauts; Commander Neil Alden Armstrong, Command Module Pilot Michael Collins, Lunar Module Pilot Edwin Eugene ‘Buzz’ Aldrin Jr. and Mission Control, ORBIT celebrates mankind’s greatest achievement and takes you on an emotional musical journey – from lift off at Cape Canaveral in Florida to landing the Eagle on the Sea of Tranquility on July 20th 1969.

To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of this momentous event, world renowned composer and producer Craig Leon (Blondie, Talking Heads, Natasha Marsh, Pavarotti) and Grammy Nominated creative director Andrew W. Ellis (Pink Floyd, Genesis, ABBA, DuranDuran) have created a stunning audio/visual journey through space from the launch of Apollo 11 to the awe inspiring landing of the Eagle lunar landing craft.

See the amazing hand-held footage shot by astronauts Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins on the first lunar mission in 1969, and hear commentary from these space pioneers.
